Decentr Firefox and Chrome Extension Release Notes for Build 1.1.7

We are proud to present our latest browser update, now available for Firefox, via the Firefox Extension Store, and for Chrome (currently available as a manual download if you require assistance installing the Chrome version please visit our BetaTester Telegram Group), as a downloadable plugin extension for both browsers.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed loading issue with topbar in relation to some websites with side scrolls and fast cookie change algorithms.
• Improved speed of PDV amount display on dPortal and Plugin.
• Consensus Failure on PDV validation fixed.

• Maintenance mode introduced so that when the blockchain is reconfigured no information is ever lost.

Improved UI

1. We have added a new dashboard for context and readability of the dHub and ease of access when needed from any page:

This added contextualisation, design and readability includes improvements to the header, navigation, adds a Latest Posts section, Category Posts, an improved New Post feature to make writing posts easier, including improved image manipulation and a newly designed individual Posts to enhance content and the reading experience.

2. When you click on “Show Details” in the toolbar the “Your Dashboard” becomes visible as a drop down menu.

3. We have also redesigned different category pages so you can find interesting content more easily — all sections now have Top posts on the right hand side so you can see what’s trending.

4. The updated look of the individual posts gives posts greater impact and readability.

5. Newly redesigned Create Post page for ease of writing and image posting.

This is the first iteration of our new plugin design and a step forward towards the release of our upcoming stand-alone browser! Stay tuned for many more development, partnership and overall Decentr ecosystem updates. If you have any feedback or find any bugs please visit our beta testing group.
