We are excited to announce that our NFT art contest, in conjunction with The Giving Block officially launches today, April 15th, to coincide with UNESCO’s World Art Day.
The contest offers $5,000 in total prize money for one talented winner who creates a single base image for an initial mint of 3,333 unique NFTs that form part of a total 9,999 collection expanded from the original theme. The contest is being hosted by our amazing art partner, Artit, so click here for full contest details and to submit.
Artit is a digital art platform on an international mission to discover and reward contemporary visual artists from around the world. They achieve this by creating and curating accessible and inclusive art opportunities in conjunction with international organisations and businesses that share their mission and love of art. Prizes offered by Artit vary from cash prizes and interview features to publication and exhibition.
Artit is excited to partner with our NFT contest to broaden their artists’ exposure and offerings into the digital space, giving an opportunity for digital artists (including traditional artists who can digitise their work), 2D and 3D Max artists, graphic designers, illustrators, and photographers the opportunity to break into the exciting field of NFTs.
As entries come in for the contest, we will be showcasing them here on our Medium, in conjunction with similar promotions that Artit will be undertaking on their website. This is with a view to not only keeping our joint communities updated on our NFT but also getting community opinion as to what style and theme of NFT we need to represent Decentr and our Defi and other features.
This is all while supporting art and artists across the spectrum of many different genres and styles, whether they wish to promote their work via NFTs or traditional community and organic marketing.
